To begin searching for scholarly journal articles for your Psych1a journal project you will want to use EBSCOhost or Gavilan OneSearch.
EBSCOhost is a database of periodical articles. These include magazines, newspapers and journals. Empirical studies will be published in scholarly journals.
Gavilan OneSearch is a single search option to search all of the library content at once.
Tips & Tricks
The most challenging part of looking for an article is picking the correct search term(s). Our best advice is to look at your text book and class notes for topics that interest you. Since you are being asked to read an article at least 10 pages long, it may as well interest you!
