3CSN’s Mission

Develop leaders in California community colleges who have the capacity to facilitate networks of faculty, staff, and students for curricular and institutional redesigns in support of increased student access, success, equity, and completion.

Values and shared assumptions

  • Everybody (students, faculty, staff) has the right to ongoing, sustained, and rigorous learning experiences to further their personal, educational, and professional growth.
  • Learning is a network forming process: connections and relationships are crucial to the learning process.
  • Deep learning and leadership are facilitated by maintaining:
    • An appreciative inquiry mindset, i.e., curiosity about what’s possible o A growth mindset, i.e., a belief that change is possible.

National Equity Project

We believe that every child has the right to a quality education, and we support people to become the leaders who make good on that promise.

Our mission is to dramatically improve educational experiences, outcomes, and life options for students and families who have been historically underserved by their schools and districts.

We work to build culture, conditions, and competencies for excellence and equity in districts, schools, classrooms, nonprofits, and communities.  We work with partners across the U.S. and are always seeking new partners who are committed to achieving equity in education.

We offer deep, authentic, and supportive partnership, meeting our clients where they are through a range of customized coaching and consulting services.

Continuous Development for 21st Century Teachers

Today’s complex and rapidly changing education environment requires that teachers embrace continuous learning and prepare to meet challenges head on. CTI offers high quality professional learning opportunities that improve teaching skills, with a focus on cultivating the educational environments students need to meet their college or career goals and enter a global workforce as successful contributors to society.

All of our programs are offered at nominal or no charge for induction members, and meet several LCAP priorities for agencies and districts. The programs provide an overt connection to student success/outcomes as well as to Common Core, utilizing the 4 C’s (Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking). The programs are research-based to include technology integration and goals.
